The Bishop Area Climbers Coalition is THRILLED to welcome photographer Jim Herrington to Bishop on Sunday, November 3 to enlighten us with a slideshow about his new book, The Climbers. About the presentation, Jim says, “This is an important one for me. My book was originally inspired by early 20th Century Sierra Nevada climbers. The first photos of the project began here in 1998 and I finished the writing in the Owens Valley nearly two decades later. This area has also been my home away from home for a majority of my life.” Tickets will be sold for $10 both online and at the door.
