Part-time staff:
Jimmy Capangpangan, Director’s Assistant & Community Manager, Jimmy first arrived to the Eastern Sierra as a climber in 2014 and instantly fell in love with Bishop. He has worked as a Ranger for the National Park Service, a Climbing Ranger for Bishop, and most recently a freelance writer. His love for the arts first came through his love for reading and writing at a young age. As a youth, he started to dive into music and was a vocalist and guitar player in a punk band. Music continues to be a major part of his life always keeping an ear for new sounds and a eye for touring artists.
Samara Moschiano, School Arts Coordinator & Gallery Coordinator, Samara Moschiano is an educator and has been involved in the arts for decades.
Having been blessed with a musical father and visual-artist mother, Samara was involved in the performing arts (dance, drama) and visual arts (ceramics, jewelry, and photography) at an early age. She went on to learn how to play music, paint, and create incredible food. Meanwhile, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.
After having visited Inyo for decades, Samara was happy to relocate with her son to Bishop years ago. She and her son developed a love for the Inyo Council for the Arts through the school arts programs (School Arts for All), Community Arts Days, and the Mill Pond Music Festival.
Samara has a passion for celebrating the local art in the community and is thrilled to be a part of the Inyo Council for the Arts.
