ICA's Theater may not be a large one, but it is definitely a big asset to our community!

ICA is proud to present several live concerts each year in our theater. We continually strive to bring high-quality shows in a variety of genres to our rural community. Please check the Events Calendar for upcoming shows.

The 100-seat theater is used frequently by groups such as Playhouse395, Inyo County Superintendent of Schools, Inyo Associates and others.

Inyo Council for the Arts is seeking to expand our live concert series. The following information may be useful to prospective performers...

  • Great Location - In the center of downtown Bishop, the heart of California’s Eastern Sierra.  It’s a perfect stop-over for musicians travelling between Los Angeles and Reno, Lake Tahoe or San Francisco.
  • Intimate Venue - Our theater space features 100 seats, an ideal size for musicians that really want to connect with the audience.
  • Staff - ICA’s staff members are always helpful, friendly and cooperative.  We strive to create working relationships that are mutually beneficial.
  • Schedule/Terms - ICA gladly accepts mid-week bookings.  We offer a fair performer/venue split on ticket sales and ICA handles all pre-show promotions and ticket sales.  Contract terms are always fair and clearly communicated.   No surprises!
  • Reputation - A majority of our bookings happen by “word of mouth” recommendations from one performer to another.  Once performers experience working with ICA, they often request repeat bookings.
  • Recent ICA Theater Concerts:  Ray Bonneville, David Lindley, Alasdair Fraser, Harvey Reid, Joe Craven, Jamie Laval, Richard Smith, and others.
