“The Subject Was Roses” first premiered on Broadway in 1964 and soared to popularity with four Tony Award nominations. Playwright Frank Gilroy won a Pulitzer Prize for his dramatic work portraying a Post-World War II family trying desperately to make connections they long ago lost sight of. A timeless and important play with characters so rich and believable they will touch hearts and stir familiar desires and haunts. A must see!
