February 6th, 2016 – Hoot and Holler – ICA Theater, 7:30pm

Hoot and Holler, comprised of Berklee school of music graduates Amy Alvey and Mark Kilianski, visited Bishop last year, and delighted the full house at the ICA with their unique blend of traditional old-time music and progressive, original song-writing.  The duo is touring the west coast again this winter, and will present a show at ICA alongside local favorite Dan Connor on Feb 6th, at 7:30pm.  Tickets will be on sale at the door.

March 25-26, 2016 – Banff Mountain Film Festival – Tri County Fairgrounds

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Bishop on March 25th and 26th.  Banff brings the spirit of outdoor adventure and mountain culture to the screen with some of the best mountain films of the year, showcasing amazing filmmaking talent from the world over.

The 2015/2016 World Tour features a collection of exhilarating and provocative films that explore life in the mountains. They highlight remote cultures, intense expeditions into exotic landscapes and bring adrenaline-packed action sports into sharp focus.

The most prestigious mountain festival in the world, the Banff Mountain Film Festival celebrates its 40th year in 2015 by continuing to bring the best action, environmental, and adventure films to audiences in Banff and in 40 countries across the globe.

Join Inyo Council for the Arts when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to the Tri-County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday, March 25th/26th at 7:00pm.

May 27-30, 2016 – Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show, Bishop City Park

The four day Memorial Day Arts and Crafts show, held annually in the Bishop City Park, features quality handcrafted items and fine arts. Approximately 100 vendors sell high quality photography, jewelry, woodworking, watercolors, sculpture, clothing, and much more.  Several food vendors keep the crowd satisfied with a variety of ethnic foods as well as shaved ice, burgers and hot dogs.  Free musical entertainment is provided throughout the weekend. This show runs in conjunction with the Mule Days Celebration, which brings an estimated 30,000 people to Bishop each year.

September 2-5, 2016 – Labor Day Arts and Crafts Show, Bishop City Park

The annual Labor Day Show is a favorite with locals and visitors alike. Held every year in conjunction with the Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fair, the show the show features high quality handmade items, fine art, and tasty food from approximately 60 vendors in the beautiful Bishop City Park.  Great weather and the beautiful park setting make the Labor day show a great place to relax and shop.

September 16-18, 2016 – 25th Annual Millpond Music Festival

Millpond Music Festival brings an eclectic collection of music to one of the most intimate festival surroundings imaginable.  The 2016 Main Stage Line-Up Will Be AMAZING and you won’t want to miss one single performance! Join us in celebrating 25 years of Millpond!
